We got out for the first time in a long time together to spend time in remote parts of Utah including Capitol Reef National Park and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Bonus: The culinary experience was not to be missed with new ciders from Etta Place Cider, a shockingly excellent, sophisticated Middle Eastern meal from the Sunglow Restaurant in Bicknell, Utah, and a meal at one of our favorite restaurants on planet Earth, Hell’s Backbone Grill.

Such a beautiful place! We loved our trips there. I’ve been trying to remember which friend (you or the Etta Cider place guy) recommended the grand staircase escalante to Michael but we thoroughly loved all of it. I could go back again and again to that area only not when it is hot. Out of this world!
