It was fun visiting with Adam Dewan last month during my Florida State University trip. Adam and I got to talk photography (he is a great bird photographer), and olfactory neuroscience which was a strength of the department I earned my PhD in. Olfactory neuroscience is *incredibly cool* and also phenomenally complex in some ways. The combinatorials of sensory decoding are truly mind boggling.
