TEDx Berlin Talk: How Your Vision Determines Your Reality

In February, I traveled to Berlin to give a talk for TEDx Berlin.  I posted a quick preview, of what turned out to be a gloriously fun experience, but now the full talk from my presentation at TEDx Berlin is now available that I can share.

Enjoy!

  1. Good talk, Bryan. I enjoyed watching . Thanks for posting.

It is hard to understand how fat, water, protein, carbohydrate and salt in a black box can see a dress at all . . . let alone a gold and white or black and blue one.

In addition to the retina as a whole being a computing device, that you mentioned during the talk, PhD neuroscientist Seth Grant has mentioned that the post synaptic side of synapses contain sophisticated protein complexes that act like micro molecular computers. I assume you are aware of those complexes but didn’t know if they were things that you researched.
