I got to visit with my friend and colleague Yuji Konyuba from JEOL at the HHMI Connectomics meeting in Berlin. Yuji is an engineer with JEOL and presented their newest instrument, the JEM-120i at the meeting. We bought literally I think the 2nd JEOL JEM 1400 on the planet 17 years ago, and bought a 2nd JEM 1400 Flash a couple of years ago.  I am verrrry interested in the new instrument and will see how things play out over the next little while.

It was good to see you again Yuji! Hopefully we can visit one of these days in Japan.
