Dear friends from Utah Maggie and Deborah came to spend a few days at the house with me in Pittsburgh this week. We ate good food, toured the city and art, and did sightseeing that we capped off with a trip down to FallingWater, the Frank Lloyd Wright home a bit South of Pittsburgh.
FallingWater is an absolute must see place if you like architecture or architectural history. Hilari and I had been to a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Oregon some years ago, and we always talked about seeing this one some time. I am sad that we could not have done this together.
Regardless, it was a delight to spend time with wonderful friends, and to visit FallingWater with them. I am trying to do my best to get all my friends to move out here to Pennsylvania where our votes count. Days like today make that easy. You hear that Maggie and Deborah? Come on out!
